Taste of Durham

Today our little family went to the local festival Taste of Durham (http://www.tasteofdurham.org/)and met up with the Cruz family Jayden, Emma, Pia and Kevin. It was a festival of food, music and entertainment. Food vendors were the local restaurants right here in Durham. There were also live music and activities for kids. Mirin enjoyed the mini burrito and her first empanadas from the Cuban food vendor. She also had some ice cream with Jayden. I liked the way the tents were set up which was very spread out, plenty of room to walk around, very good music on stage, an easy to find parking space, and variety of different kinds of food, beer and wine. The down size was it cost us $6 per person to get in. Mirin enjoyed running around outside with Jayden. It was such a nice and fun afternoon and we all had a great time.
I took Mirin to her first ride. It wa the kind that was spining around and around. She liked it ok but I got dizzy after several rounds.
Mirin and Jayden had a really good time dancing and clapping to the music. This girl LOVED music and dancing. She didn't stop until they cleared out the stage. Even Jayden had to stop for water break.
