Weekend in Fayetteville

I took Mirin to see my aunt this weekend. I stopped by to see her and my uncle at Western Harnett HS in Lilington, NC. My uncle was a ROTC teacher and retired last year. There was a Junior ROTC competition at the school. My aunt always made fried rice to feed the kids. Mirin had a chance to see a marching band.

Visiting Yai yai is always fun. Yai yai and Mirin were playing ball using pears and persimmons. Mirin called them all apples.

Then on Sunday, we went to an International Festival in downtown Fayetteville. It was really fun. There were shows on stages, parades, puppets shows and foods from different countries. I put Mirin in her little Thai outfit. We stopped by Thai booth. Mirin was dancing to the Thai music. We really had a agreat time.
