Turkey Time

Thanksgiving was my most favorite holidays. This year we all went to eat thanksgiving lunch at aunt Rosa in Raeford. The food was so so good. To name a few Cajun fried turkey, ham, dumpling, chocolate pie, collard green, devil eggs, corn, rice and gravy. All were homemade. Aunt Rosa was really a good cook. Mirin enjoyed the turkey, dumpling and gravy over rice. Mirin also had her first lollipop. Mirin had a good time to get acquaint with her cousins. Since she was going to be an only child and most of my families were in Thailand, it was very important for her to get to know and close to her cousins here in the US. After we finished lunch at aunt Rosa, we all went to visit great grandma and uncle Charles's family. Before we headed back home, we stopped to see my aunt in Fayetteville. I decided to have Mirin stayed with my aunt in Fayetteville the whole weekend so that me and Michael had a chance to recover from a bad cold. It was a good thanksgiving after all.
