Riding Choo Choo train

The weather had been so nice this weekend. On Sunday, we all went to New Hope Valley Railway (http://www.nhvry.org/)North Carolina railroad museum. It was about 25 miles from our house. I didn't know that there was a railroad museum near our house until I found it out from a local magazine. At the entrance, they had a scale garden railroad layout which had Thomas the train for kids to enjoy. They also had an actual train ride from Bonsal to New Hill, NC. We rode on the diesel engine but they also had a steam one. When the train made the choo choo sound, Mirin said "that's loud". The trip took about an hour. It was an open car which allowed us to enjoy nice cool breeze. There was also a live entertainment on the train. The old man was playing banjo and sing folk music. This was Mirin first time on a real train. She enjoyed the ride a lot. She stood up and watched the view (which was not much some trees and old houses)for the whole trip. We probably would not enjoy it this much if we came in different time when the weather was hot. At the end of the ride, Mirin said "I like choo choo train". That was all it matter.
